|Coleus Forskohlii (20% Forskolin)
Forskolin is the main substance in the plant Coleus Forskohlii. The main effects of the intake of Forskolin are increased muscle mass, strength and energy, increased testosterone levels and reduce fat even without workouts. Forskolin acts as follows: stimulating the production of the enzyme adenylate cyclase, which in turn increases the concentration of the cellular mediator – cyclic AMP (adenosine monophosphate). High levels of cyclic AMP stimulate vasodilation (widening of blood vessels and improved blood flow), improve lung capacity, allow greater endurance during workouts, increase the secretion of hormones by the thyroid gland and accelerate lipolysis (breakdown of fat and transfering it into energy). Moreover, the high levels of cyclic AMP in the testicles mimics the action of luteinizing hormone – testosterone production is increased and allows the growth of muscle mass. High levels of cyclic AMP in the skeletal muscle lead to an increase in protein synthesis and thus to increased energy and stamina during exercise. In addition, intake of forskolin will not make you feel nervous or sweat constantly, as most products that burn fat do. Even with irregular workouts, the results are telling.
|Fenugreek (50% Fenusterols)
Fenusterols are extremely rich in saponins agents (5-6%), which are derived from the seeds of fenugreek. Fenugreek seeds are used from ancient times as a dietary supplement because of their restorative powers and abilities to stimulate digestion. A study in 1919 shows that the seeds of fenugreek contain natural steroid substances. Subsequent studies confirmed the presence of at least 12 different saponins, the main of which – diosgenin and its isomers – yamogenin, gitogenin and tigogenin. These saponins are furostanol, i.e. have anabolic effects and can be used in sports to increase muscle strength and mass, leading to improved performance at workouts. Furostanols are important for athletes also because they stimulate the production of testosterone and enhance spermatogenesis. Testosterone plays a key role in sperm production and accordingly in improving the reproductive function in general, as also for recovery after exercise. In terms of sports nutrition, furostanol saponines contained in fenusterols have another important effect, as increased testosterone levels increase levels of protein in muscle, which in turn leads to even greater increase in muscle mass and strength . An important addition is that Diosgenin helps to normalize cholesterol levels.
